Parkinson's Disease (PD) treatment

Our Parkinson's disease treatment is not yet available. We plan on having a psychoimmunology treatment ready in 2025. If you are interested in being put on a waiting list for treatment in the future once our treatment is ready, please phone us during office hours, or email us.

Research history
Like many of our research projects, this one started somewhat by accident. Because the research director at the time, Dr. Grant McFetridge, is Canadian, and had respect for the actor Michael J. Fox (who is also Canadian), he had wanted to try and find a way to help Mr. Fox. In 2022, the research team had some spare time, and started to look at what caused this disease. We then sent a research proposal to the Michael J. Fox Foundation; you can download our pre-proposal PDF here. Unfortunately, our psychobiology approach for treating the disease was not something they were interested in, and they rejected our proposal.

A few years later, we accidentally found one of our neighbors had the disease, and they were excited to act as a test case for our new treatment. We started to test it in the spring of 2024, but ran out of time due to other commitments.

We plan on finishing and testing a psychoimmunology treatment for Parkinson's sometime in 2025.
